There are scammers that want your money and are disguised as a charitable organization. They make you believe that you're giving your money (in good faith) to great orgs such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In reality, the money never makes it there!!

Marie Claire suggests these well-regarded breast cancer organizations for donors to contribute to. The following groups spend most of their funds to research and treatment:
- Breast Cancer Research Foundation
- Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
- The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
- Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
- The Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Center
