Hi Everybody!

I hope your 9/11 10 year anniversary was full of reflection and pride.  Mine was definitely, despite my exhaustion from the most wonderful 3 day weekend of my life. I am happy to report that on 9/10/11,

Remember when my awesome supervisor and friend, Emily took pictures of our engagement (like the moment Dave popped down on one knee?)?? Emily was also there at the wedding, snapping pictures!

I'm so excited to say that the final countdown to the wedding is ON!!! Tomorrow, my family lands and I get to see my bestestestestest!!  Other guests start pouring in and this means planning will be OVER!!!

Pre-Wedding getaway

 

We have been working all summer and haven't taken a break.  So, we planned a mini summer vacation to the beach!  It was nice to get away and play in the water, soak up more sun and spend some quality time, relaxing before terror-bridezilla (tee hee) took over the relationship.

We had so much fun and it was just what we needed!

 Dang, this water is COLD!

 Clearly, he does not seem to mind.

(PS. investing in a waterproof camera was the best decision I made in the recent past!)

The last day, we went fishing with my MAID OF HONOR, Steph and her boyfriend and brother. I'd never been on a little boat or gone fishing so it was a fun experience! 

It's 14 days until the wedding, Hurricane Irene is terrorizing the East Coast!

Summer is Here!!

My summer is FINALLY here!! As you may already know, I'm deep into my program as a Masters student in Social Work.  I have been taking summer classes (which makes it seem that I hide under a rock most of the time!)  I am back from the cave and can finally say that I am DONE with my summer classes and am now FREE to go to the beach, read, go to the pool, hang out with my love before the stress of the wedding hits!! I am so excited!!

So flippin' excited!

I AM SO FLIPPIN EXCITED!

My parents are coming to see ME!!! I'm the only one in the states.  My parents and my sister live in Japan so I am so disconnected.  The last time I saw my family was October 2009 when my baby niece was born! It's been a little while, I'd say.  The last time my family came to the states to visit me on my turf was graduation from college May 2007. 

They are coming to see me in March so that they can meet Dave's parents!  I know I should be nervous but I'm not. I can't wait! I think they will love his family!!! One step closer to me getting married to my love! <3

JCrew Wedding Gown SALE!

J Crew started their wedding collection a while ago and their dresses have never gone on sale.  This morning, I woke up to the happiest news of their fabulous wedding gowns going on SALE!!! I've been watching the Dominique gown for over a year... drool. Don't you also love the Sascha gown?

8.9.10 and beyond

Quicky post! I'm moving and the house is a disaster but I'm getting settled in!  Dave drove BACK to J-ville, NC for 3.5 more days of work!

Anyway, today is August 9, 2010.  It's a cool day. 8.9.10.  

The next time that happens, it will be my wedding day.  

HOLLER! September 10, 2011 is going to come so quickly!! woot woot!

PS. I'm going into a makeshift interview with the Limited.

Have I not yet professed my love of this amazing establishment? 

I've worked for 2 other Limited stores and I have been ITCHING to be back on their payroll.

So here I am, dressed head to toe in Limited, ready for my interview! Woooot!
