I feel like an ADULT

We bought a car today! This fact makes me feel like an adult. 

I've wanted a Toyota Highlander for the LONGEST time.

I literally CRIED (silly...) when I couldn't get a used Highlander 

and HAD TO (silly again...) buy a brand new Honda Accord (which I now love). 

Needless to say, I am SO excited that we are now PROUD owners of this beauty!

8.9.10 and beyond

Quicky post! I'm moving and the house is a disaster but I'm getting settled in!  Dave drove BACK to J-ville, NC for 3.5 more days of work!

Anyway, today is August 9, 2010.  It's a cool day. 8.9.10.  

The next time that happens, it will be my wedding day.  

HOLLER! September 10, 2011 is going to come so quickly!! woot woot!

PS. I'm going into a makeshift interview with the Limited.

Have I not yet professed my love of this amazing establishment? 

I've worked for 2 other Limited stores and I have been ITCHING to be back on their payroll.

So here I am, dressed head to toe in Limited, ready for my interview! Woooot!

Paint... the Aftermath

Since you were so lovely and were curious about my solo painting adventures, I wanted to let you know how it all turned out! In 2.5 days, I painted 6 rooms (3 from a help of a friend).

This awesome decal is from an etsy store! I absolutely love it!!

Our dining area is BRIGHT yellow! Hello!

Our "beach themed" guest bath...

Racing stripe in the study! It goes ALL the way around the room!

Our bedroom is a calm grey

And lastly, our bathroom is LIME GREEN!

Aren't these just happy colors? The lady mixing our colors at Lowes scowled at me each time I handed over my paint chips but I think I converted her by the end.  She told me "you picked some nice colors." Yay! I hope you all like the results! We have a bit of touching up to do but I'm excited to start our new lives in this place!
