Summer Rut

I think I'm in a rut. I have my 100 mile running challenge + Work out challenge and I'm not moving forward fast... This is how pathetically SLOW I'm going!  I'm tracking my progress and my attitude each time but I find it hard to fit a trip to the gym (that takes an hour at the least) for a 30 minute work out and fit it into my already busy day.  Frustrating! And I REFUSE to run outside when it's 95-105 degrees and humidity!!

Help me get to the gym ladies!

  1. I've started making myself run in the sauna weather. I was boycotting and then I was like...ugh if Ben can do it I GUESS I will try.

  3. Yes you can do it outside!! Go early or reallll late and make dave come with you :) Also, my Ipod pedometer/nike shoe thingy and having a race at the end of the summer are always my saving grace! Good Luck Girl!

  4. It's been at least ten years since I heard the phrase "Semper Gumby". I often use it when I send my boss my agenda for the week. LOL I tried for years to make the gym (or home gym equipment) work. When I was in the service, I forced myself to run but didn't enjoy it. What works for me is simple - Beachbody. Two programs I highly recommend for women who are committed to fitness are both from trainer Chalene Johnson. ChaLean Extreme and TurboFire. Find something you love to do and fits into your lifestyle. That's when you'll get the results you want because you'll stick with it. Best regards - Julie http://JustGetMeFit.com
